Hello everyone! I'm currently writing a story with
I felt like it'd be really fun to have this contest to see other artists renderings of our characters based on descriptions of them


What you have to do
Draw a person from our story using the description provided

This contest will go October 14th- December 20th



Rules:
You can enter as many times as you'd like, however each entry must be a different character
You may have more than one character in a picture
You may not submit literature or anything involving bases or photo manipulation (references are allowed however)
You may draw our characters any style you see fit (anime, realistic, ect) but please keep in mind they must be human

Judging
Judging will be done by and myself. We will be judging your artwork based on how you used our descriptions to create the characters. It really helps if you write a few sentences about why you chose to draw the character that way. For example "I gave Sana a short pixie cut to represent her bouncy and carefree personality", this is not required but recommended

These are the 7 characters and their descriptions for the contest (you only need to pick one but you can do as many entries as you'd like)

*If a feature isn't stated (for example I didn't say what kind of clothes Sana wears) then you have the freedom to do whatever you want and what would fit the character best

*When I refer to "demons" in this they're similar to vampires, drink blood, pale, dark hair. Demons are almost always very evil and cruel.


Basic Story line:
The story takes place in a modern day era in which people are mysteriously born with powers. The story focuses on the lives of two girls Mayali and Sana and the hardships they experience working for a mission based government organization (the organization can best be compared to a guild, members are ranked by their past performance and can choose various missions based on their ranking and experience).



Lukas
Gender: Male
Age: Mid 30's
Role: one of the main antagonists (bad guy). He runs an illegal mercenary group and tricks Sana into working for him. He used to work for Lauren as a soul collector
Powers: he can control people's minds and being a Demon he possesses superhuman strength/agility
Personality: the best way to describe him is as a psychopath; he's manipulative, cunning, charming and has no empathy & doesn't care about anyone else other than himself.
Physical features: Tall (6ft 3) & masculine, He is a demon so he has red eyes & dark colored hair/ pale skin. He has short black hair.
(I'd really like to see him with sinister looking eyes as well as a "bad boy" attractiveness)



Phil
Gender: Male
Age: early 30's
Role: At first he is portrayed as an antagonist but later becomes a protagonist. He runs an illegal mercenary group and his primary goal is to kill his older brother (Lukas) for the murder of his Wife. He works for Lauren as a soul collector.
Powers: Phil has the ability to weaken and even cancel out the powers of others, he fights with a sword and being a Demon he also possesses superhuman strength/agility.
Personality: Since the murder of his wife he acts very cold and guarded with his emotions. He acts very strong and tough to hide the pain of the past.
Physical features: Tall (6ft 2) & masculine. He is also a demon so he has red eyes & dark colored hair/pale skin). He has short black hair; he usually likes to wear darker simpler clothes.



Lauren
Gender: Female
Age: later 20's
Role: One of the Main Antagonists. She trades power and fortune for souls and allegiance to her. She has Phil working for her
Powers: Lauren can enter and mess with people's heads; she can read memories, control thoughts/ideas. Lauren also possesses forces that can attack people or grab objects (these forces look similar to shadows) Lauren is also a demon so she possesses superhuman strength and agility.
Personality: Lauren is very sadistic and manipulative. Her favorite pastimes include torture and collecting souls. She is however mentally unstable and is prone to psychotic outbursts and meltdowns.
Physical features: She is a demon so she has red eyes, dark colored hair and pale skin. She is relatively tall for a woman (5ft 9) and she has a well-proportioned/"womanly" body. Lauren has long black hair and she dresses in all black (sometimes gothic) clothes.



Sana
Gender: Female
Age: 16-18
Role: Major Protagonist, Best friends with Mayali and the romantic interest of Ryoga. She holds a lot of resent at her parents for abandoning her & is tricked by Lukas into working for him
Powers: Sana inherited her father's ability to copy the powers of those around her. She mainly likes to use healing and water powers to keep her mimic powers a secret.
Personality: Sana is very sweet and bubbly. Sometimes she can be viewed as annoying or loud but she really cares about her friends. Sana loves going to the beach and spends most of her free time there or with Ryoga. Her favorite color is blue.
Physical features: Sana is short (5ft) and thin. She has fair colored skin. Sana likes to dye her hair unusual colors so her hair can be any unusual color (Sana can be drawn with long or short hair). She has a scar on her left side from her father.



Mayali
Gender: Female
Age: 16-18
Role: Major Protagonist, best friends with Sana and the romantic interest of Tashu. Mayali was born half demon so she faces a lot of hardship and prejudice because of it.
Powers: Mayali has air based powers; she uses fans and throwing knives with her powers. Mayali is also half demon so occasionally she has superhuman strength and agility but it is usually rare.
Personality: Mayali is very strong and brave. She is willing to do anything for the people she cares about. Mayali's favorite thing to do is cook and her favorite color is purple.
Physical features: Mayali is half demon so she can occasionally have red eyes but they usually remain blue, she has fair skin. She has shoulder length brown hair and is average height (5ft 4) she is slim but well-toned.



Ryoga
Gender: Male  
Age: 16-18
Role: major protagonist, good friends with Mayali and Tashu, Romantic interest of Sana
Powers: Ryoga has mind powers; he can read minds, see memories and even locate a person from far away through his powers.
Personality: Ryoga is very calm and cool. To some he might come off as rude or stuck up but he just likes to keep to himself. He doesn't show much emotion but he cares deeply about Sana. Ryoga loves being outside & enjoys going to the beach with Sana. Ryoga's favorite color is red.
Physical features: Ryoga has tan colored skin. Ryoga almost always has a relaxed face. He has short brown hair and brown eyes. He is relatively tall (5ft 11) and is well built.



Tashu
Gender: Male
Age: 16-18
Role: major protagonist, good friends with Ryoga and Sana, romantic interest of Mayali
Powers: Tashu is extremely smart but also has control over the weather and being smart he likes to use his powers tactically in combat.
Personality: Tashu is very calm and relaxed, he really likes to do anything that's calm and peaceful; his favorite color is green. Unlike Ryoga he shows emotion, he is very kind and is easily concerned about Mayali's well being.
Physical features: Tashu has fair skin, he is average height (5ft 8) and is slim but toned. He has short blonde hair and green eyes.
